Screening Process

Bella Domestic Agency specifically matches candidates who possess the skills and abilities needed to facilitate a successful placement. Based on the type of nanny or household employee that you are looking for, we get to know each applicant so that we can match them with our clients needs and wants. We believe that mutual respect and open communication are key ingredients to having a smooth working relationship with you and your nanny or domestic help.

The process of finding qualified domestic help can be extremely difficult, uncertain and time consuming. With our dedication, extensive network of candidates and with our level of experience, we are here to make the placement process simple and efficient.

We have a range of nannies and domestic help to meet your needs. Our nannies and domestic help are both live in and live out, and full and part time. All nannies are CPR/ First Aid Certified. We do an extensive background check on our nannies and domestic help, verify references and personally interview each and every one. We have a lengthy interview process obtaining their experiences, references, background, education, legal right to work in the United States, and other general information.

Bella Domestic Agency prides its self on providing highly qualified candidates that exceed our client's expectations, offering guidance and support throughout the placement process and beyond.

Upon hiring you will receive an in-depth package containing criminal background check for all 50 states, including any AKA’s, felony, misdemeanor, dismissed charges, etc., DMV record check, Identity and social security verification along with, 1st Aid or CPR certification and any required medical testing documents, 5x7 color photo along with their emergency contact information.

REQUIREMENTS

We receive well over 100 applications per month from a variety of different applicants and as a result of our rigorous screening and application requirements we reject over 20% of them.
In addition to the personal interview and application evaluation the following are required from our applicants:

  • 3yrs Minimum in their related field
  • Valid Drivers License Or Identification card
  • Must have a clear DMV record with valid insurance (if driving any children)
  • Social Security card / Proof of ability to work in the United States
  • Clear understanding of English
  • Verifiable work references with valid phone numbers
  • CPR & First Aid Certified

A representative will contact you in order to discuss the needs of your family and to create a search program tailored to your request.

Your representative will email or fax you the nannies or domestic help’s application that we feel may be a good fit for your household. You can then advise your representative as to whom you are interested in meeting with; we will set-up the interviews with the prospective candidates to meet with you at your home at a time that is convent for you and your family.

When you have decided on a candidate, contact our office and we will submit your offer to the candidate on your behalf.

When the nanny or domestic help accepts your offer, the full placement fee will be due and the background investigation is initiated.
